Newsletter Mailing Must Be Curtailed!
Due to the high printing and mailing cost, please note that effective September 1, 2011, we will no longer mail the RCRA newsletter. The newsletter will continue to be available at the RCRA Website and if you will provide your email address to us, we will email it to you when a new newsletter is available. If you need an exception, we will mail a copy of the newsletter to you via the US Mail, but you must specifically request this exception and verify your address for us, as follows:
1. Come to the meeting and make that request at our special signup table.
2. Mail a written request to us with your current home address to P.O. Box 851271, Richardson, TX 75085-1271
3. Email your request to us at rcretirees@gmail.com. Please include your current home address, as well.
The officers have reviewed our options and we are sorry if we inconvenience any of you. If we do not hear from you, we assume that you no longer need a printed copy sent via US Mail.

Newsletter Email
Up until now, we have only used the US Postal Service to mail printed copies of the newsletter to all of the membership. The cost of printing and mailing the 2000+ copies represents a significant portion of our expenses. We have undertaken the task of sending some of these via email instead of USPS to help defray expenses. At the present time, email distribution reduces the quantity by approximately 300 copies. While this is just a small percentage of the total, we hope to increase that quantity, but we need your help.

RCRA has imported all of the email addresses contained in our database to Google Mail, and we have spent a bit of time honing that capability to eliminate misspelled and outdated email addresses. We need to have more of you on our email list! So please take a moment to send us email from your preferred email account. The destination address is rcretirees@gmail.com. Please include your current home address, as well, so that we can cross check our database, and update it for future reference. You can also provide this information at the sign up desk when you attend our October meeting.

As you know, Jerry Henninger, a past president of RCRA, hosts the RCRA website, http://rcretirees.com/.  We thank Jerry Henninger and his business partner, Lance Ochs at the Heritage Trade Group for this service. Please forward obituaries and death notices for our members to one of the officers (see page 1 for addresses) and copy Jerry:  jerry@heritagetradegroup.com
